Google and Kaggle report 353,000 developers joined five-day AI agents course

Google and Kaggle hosted a five-day intensive course focused on teaching developers to build and deploy AI agents using natural language programming. The event drew over 353,000 registered participants, reflecting strong demand for practical, hands-on AI development training.

Collaboration was centered on Kaggle’s Discord, where more than 392,000 active users participated in real-time code sharing, debugging, and study groups. This scale of engagement underscores the community’s appetite for peer-driven learning in AI development.

Participants submitted over 6,000 capstone projects, with more than 12,000 active learners contributing. Projects ranged from historical manuscript transcription tools to space-weather research systems, highlighting the diversity of applications being explored by the developer community.

All course materials, including codelabs and technical whitepapers, remain available on Kaggle Learn for self-paced learning. The organizers emphasized the course’s role in helping developers transition prototypes from ‘vibe to live’ in production environments.
