Encore AI, a startup that analyzes customer interactions to train AI voice agents, raised $30 million in a Series A funding round led by Team8. The company was founded in 2022 as Insait IO and rebranded as Encore AI in 2026. Its platform uses a process the CEO calls “interaction mining” to extract successful sales and support techniques from call recordings, emails, and CRM data.

The platform divides customer interactions into stages and identifies which parts of conversations led to successful outcomes. Encore then packages these findings into playbooks that its AI agents can use to communicate with customers by voice or text, or to assist human employees by recommending responses and tactics during live interactions.

Encore’s agents are designed to leverage the strongest parts of an organization’s existing playbooks. According to CEO Dvir Ginzburg, the agents can even replicate specific jokes, anecdotes, or examples used by top-performing employees because they are trained directly on those interactions.

The company reports it has more than 40 enterprise customers globally, with the majority in financial services. Encore claims its annual recurring revenue has grown more than fivefold since its seed round less than 18 months ago, though it did not disclose exact figures.

Encore positions itself as an early player in a market it describes as focused on turning conversational history into a foundational data source for AI agents. The startup argues that large CRM providers like Salesforce, SAP, Zoho, and HubSpot face a higher barrier to competing directly because they would need to overhaul their technological stacks to incorporate historical customer conversations as a core input for their AI systems.
